We have very liberal regulations in the UK, as long as the bike is safe we can make many modifications without problem.

The side panel shape is complete now. I need to make final trimming - and then ready for the alloy to be cut.

Also - the Weber anti- vibration gasket is fitted to make certain we still have clearance around the frame rails.

Ha,ha .... the silencer DB killer is for the annual MOT road test [ like TUV ].

You fit it for the test .... then take it out for 12 months and then refit it !

However, my bike is over 40 years old and does not require the annual MOT or Road Tax ;)

My pal is not going to his property is the US for 3 months this year [ he is ill ] so I have access to my bike to continue building over the winter.

It is my hope also that you will hear it at Glemseck !! :headbang:

Some more work.

The new silencer from Chinabay £25.25 delivered !

Finally - the head and exhaust are at the machine shop. My guy is making a couple of new bends to get a better fit / weld. He is also machining new spacers for the rear wheel and will bright zinc plate a load of parts for me.

He has to make new weld bungs for the Nitrous nozzles and will also weld them in for me. He will also index the nozzles so the jets point in line with the manifold to the valves.

A little more progress. :headbang:
The seat and dummy tank are now ready to fit - all the brackets are made and fibreglassed in.

I made a trial fitting of the 1960's half race fairing to see if it looked correct ..... it does. The mounting brackets have been designed and will be made in the next few weeks.

The head / exhaust is now finally [ after 4 months ! ] back from the guy who promised to do the welding [ did not ] and will go down to my machine shop guy next week with some parts I need to be machined and bright zinc plated.

The paddock stand has been modified to suit the 60's style bike.
