Hello Worzel and welcome from the UK.

I also am the proud owner of the CSR well actually i have 2 1/2.

She looks quite healthy and in need of hard labour more than money.

We have a UK based site called Lonesometwin. Please feel free to browse and join.

It is my plan to come and ride in Ireland one day and to visit Kerry as that is my Daughters name

Cheers for now

KK

Thanks for the welcome Gunther, my name Worzel is my nick name given to me by my old club, Magna Carta M.C.C. , it comes from a old UK childrens tv character Worzel Gummidge a Talking Scarecrow that always gets into mischief and trouble.

welcome to the Z750Twin Forum !
Congrats to have a CSR.

Your information is correct (US-Model, make only 1982)
Have a look at http://www.z750twin.de/csr_us-version.htm

I may help with translation ;-)

CSRs in original condition are rare, so just change the bolt on parts and keep the originals ;-)

Is it still with original paint? Don't change that!
Look out for other tank and side cover and paint them ;-)

Upload some pictures, we love that.

Slàinte,
Michael

PS: I had a german girlfriend, working for years in Galway ;-)
Hi Michael

The tank looks already poorly repainted, I will try to upload some pictures soon i will have to reduce the size of them first though. The CSR is still in the shop waiting to be collected so pics will be of what I took for reference.
Thanks
Worzel

I'm back to bikes after many years and just put a deposit on a CSR 750 twin, well to be honest my Fiancee has, as my Christmas Present. Irish registration etc, its a 1982 and all original except 2 into 1 exhausts, and only 12,000 miles about 16,000km on clock.

Being from my understanding this twin was only produced for 1 year for USA market. Thereby getting rarer and most have been heavily altered to choppers and bobbers etc.

So guys and ladies what do you think I should do, I'm thinking of classic black, chrome and polished leaning to Triumph Norton styling but bike remains original except for paint and bolt on parts.

Any ideas welcome, Ride Safe, Ride Free
