These therefore work quite well

RE: Hauptständer an B2 ausbauen, aber wie ?
Hi Kaptain,
I am a bit lost now. This looks like an anchor bolt for concrete?
How should I use this in my particular case?
May be my phantasy is blocked for the moment...

RE: Hauptständer an B2 ausbauen, aber wie ?
Hm,
yes, that is the obvious part of the game - but it does not reduce the radial play between the inner tube and the clamp bracket of the frame, does it?
Or do you intend to bring axial force on the inner tube against the bracket to avoid rotation of the tube? Aaah, this could work...the brackets should be rigid enough. It does not minimize the radial Play, but prevents proceeding of the erosion.
Is this what you mean?
Bye

I have not yet managed to fit this assembly to my B1 as it is a future project at the back of my garage. I believe did short spacers will be required. So the head of the anchor bolt may need to be made thinner to miss the spring.
The M10 anchor bolt is the right side for a stand with no spindle. If the spindle is corroded inside the stand then the same should be possible with a smaller size anchor bolt.
Cheers
KK
