Spark plugs for the 750 Twins

Many questions from a happy Twin owner.  I just checked the sparkplugs and they seem to be fine. The plugs usen is NGK R BCPR6ES. Is this a sparkplug that is commonly usen on the 750 Twin motors or should I order a different type to have in my toolbag for spare..?

Hello Salaren,

a further possibility is to use, like me for my Y1, the NGK 8ES.

You can test it, and compare the combustion image, perhaps it´s better.

Other Producers, sorry i don´t know exactly what´s the right ones.

Hello Salaren,

Gerd is right: the NGK BPR8ES is in my view the better option, because the 6er spark plugs are normally to "hot".
A very good alternative are the Champion N3C

Excellent information, thanks to the good people you guys are.

That is good news as I do allready have stocked up with both NGK 8ES and NGK 7ES as these sparkplugs are also used for the 2 Kawasaki 400 Twins that I also own and use every day. Wonderful bikes also the 400 R2 Twins and very funny to drive but it is allways a pleasure to ride the 750 Twin on the longer rides.
