The points retainer bolt is the best option so far as there is no oil present and the drive to the pump sprocket is short.
It will be quite simple [ not for me ! ] for somebody to turn up a small cover plate to replace the original points cover and if it is needed, I could even install an outrigger bearing.
When I have all the parts - pump, oil cooler, hose fittings - I can begin to layout the parts to find the best solution.

What about the ratio? It is simple to low it down...
And a Turbo also starts with the first ignition...
Mabybe you think about a cooler, i' am not shure where i have seen that: the size is appx. 5" x 8" and the Fan is driven on the coolinnerside and the oilpump on the outerside. I think it whas on a firefighterrescuehydraulicequipment...
You need in that case no highpressure in the bearings but enough clean cool oil...

I follow this thread with interest, although such kind of modification is completely remote for me. But in fact, I am absolutely fascinated about your thoughts.
But now I am lost: WTH is the "points retainer bolt"? Or more precise: What is the "points"?
Well, I wonder whether a belt drive withstands 7000 RPM? If so, I could imagine to install the Oil pump side by side to the starter motor, driven by the named belt, powered from the right end of the crankshaft. A machined adapter "ring" to give space for the primary belt wheel and you could eventually even re-use the ignitor cap?
Ok,ok, just an idea, and a lot of details to be solved...

yes the "points" are in fact the ignition side exactly as you picture for the take off.
That is the area I am planning to use.
The drive wheel would be external to the casing - requiring only a hole in the ignition cover plate - or even a specially machined version.
The reason I am considering mounting the pump underneath the sump - is that the turbo exhaust will be very close to the starter and too much heat.
For a road bike with normal exhaust this position is good.
There is NO problem with the strength of the belt to withstand 7000 rpm +. This is the same type of belt used for camshaft drive on cars - and rear wheel drive on some of our KZ's !!
Lightweight plastic is also OK for the drive wheel as there is very little inertia in the pump to worry about.
I have used a similar system on my Drag Race cars without any problem.
I plan to draw up some sketches in the next week to explain my ideas - I will post them and I am sure you will see my plan !

das Wort "points" bedeutet in diesem Zusammenhang "Kontakte" (der Zündung).
Du hast es aber schon richtig erkannt, es geht um den Antrieb der zusätzlichen Ölpumpe von der Zündungsseite aus.

Denkt dran:
Die Drehrichtung des Motors an der Zündungsseite ist gegen(!) den Uhrzeigersinn.
Die Steuerkette nur bei montiertem Ventildeckel spannen, sonst droht ein kapitaler Motorschaden!

If you need something to protect the Starter against the turboheat: 3M has a fibre named " Nextel"...

CRAZY prices for small nylon toothed drive cogs and belts !
Plan "B" - I will use the GSXR drive sprocket and chain !
So - back to E Bay ............ chain and sprocket [ for points take off ] £18 .... or a complete pump with chain and sprocket from another dealer - £8.00 !!!
Maybe the MOT department [ UK TUV ] requires a chain guard - but that is a small problem.
I have the layout in my head now - a few more small corrections and then I can make a schematic sketch.
