Hello everyone
I am about to start a Z750 twin Bobber project. I have available to me the front cradle of a Z650 frame. Does anyone here know if the 750 twin engine will go into the frame with small or no modifications?
Cheers
KK

Hi Andy,
what is "the front cradle of a Z650 frame"?
Do you have other words for it?
Cheers, Michael

Denkt dran:
Die Drehrichtung des Motors an der Zündungsseite ist gegen(!) den Uhrzeigersinn.
Die Steuerkette nur bei montiertem Ventildeckel spannen, sonst droht ein kapitaler Motorschaden!
Allzeit Gute Fahrt!

RE: Frame selection
Sorry Michael. It is the area between the tubes of the frame where the engine is bolted.

RE: Frame selection
To add another view to this thread i have today found a new frame for a 750S twin. Does anyone know if this is the same as the CSR and if not what are the differences?
Cheers

I have today seen the 750S frame and i do not see a difference to the CSR. I can buy it for about 100 euro's. I think this is a good price and i think i will buy.

RE: Frame selection
Hi Andy,
The frames should be very similar but have a close look to the steering lock. Maybe the S has the lock body welded to one side of the steering head, CSRs have the lock integrated in the upper yoke and a "kind of whole" in a welded metal sheet in the upper, middle, front side of the steering head.
Have a lock at that!
Cheers, Michael

RE: Frame selection
Hi Michael
I have today collected the frame. It is Brand New and has not even been stamped with numbers. I compared it to my CSR frame and i could not find a difference so i checked the part numbers and they are the same
It is happy days for me
