If i understand properly you are talking about the drive chain sprocket ratio.
Standard is 17t front and 38t rear. Changing the front sprocket to 18t is the same as changing the rear to 36t.

Example 38/18 = 2.11 and 36/17 = 2.11 which both mean that the gearbox sprocket has to turn 2.11 times for the wheel sprocket to turn 1 time. I hope this is sensible and helps

Hi KK,

17 teeth front is standard in UK?
In Germany it is 16 teeth !
The best hint is to use the 17 teeth sprocket, e.g. from Yamaha SR500.
It matches perfectly and is easy and cheap to get.
