Hi I'm Kaye from Yorkshire UK,
I just thought i would introduce my bike that is slightly modified by myself and picking the brains from a few friends, the front end is from a Yamaha xs1100 seat started out from a 250ltd I cut the foam and made the cover myself, the rear shocks are shorter than stock! carburettors are from a gpz500 .....hope you like it :)

Hi Gerd, thank you for your message, my bike came to me as a bit of a basket case with quite a few bits missing from new mexico of all places....still at least it don't rain over there so it is in really good condition for its age :)
Regards Kaye.

Hello Kaye,

when you got the bike? And, why you are meaning "as a bit of a basket case"? Which important parts you missed?
Perhaps you have a photo from the first condition of the bike you got it. Please show us.
It is a great advantage that you got a stainless motorcycle in this age. Many lovers looking so consciously in such an rain-free countries such a vehicle. The general condition does not matter, the main thing is stainless.
Why You bought the machine, when the state was no longer okay?

Many greetings

Gerd

Hello Kaye,
welcome to the german z750-forum, if you live in the Yorkshire District you must know the lonesome-twin Community as well. It's linked on our homepage. There you can get all the information you'll asked for.
I'm just staying here for holidays and found some awesome roads, thank's to my Tourguide Julie. Lovely to be here, the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales are now noticed in my satnav-favorits and i hope to find some more.
Going for a rideout with KaptnKwak tomorrow and hope to find nice weather again.
However, i think you'll find all answers her.

Hi Gaga,
Thank you for your message, i live in the Goole area and i know the Yorkshire Dales and not too far from me, as for the Lonesome-twin i have just joined that community and fired a few emails back and forth with Kaptnkwack he sounds like a nice feller :) it seems like i have a quite rare belt drive, i will be posting more pics and bits and bobs as i go along, plus i have quite a few questions i need to ask about these bikes.
I will be in touch very soon. I hope you enjoy Matlock with kaptnkwack it is a beautiful place and fantastic biking roads in Derbyshire, again that too is not that far from me, if my bike was sorted i would have come along but there is always a next time .
Kind regards Kaye.
