Hi Everyone

Have you heard of Heidenau tires ?

One of the UK Lonesometwin members has tried them and is very positive. Does anyone have any knowledge?

Cheers

KK

Hello Andy,

Heidenau is a former East-Germany (DDR) Tire Company, and is now specialized on Tires for cars and motorcycles of older years of manufacturing. Especially of brands of former eastern countries (MZ, Jawa, Trabant, etc.).

But I have no experience with the products. The construction seems to be very good. old-looking design, but modern under-construction. Heidenau has got a very good reputation.

Bye, Ralf

Hi Andy,

I agree with Ralf, but don't use these tires myself.
As Heidenau had to renew all the production lines that were used during GDR-times, their production facilities are quite modern.
All reports I have red states that the quality and capabilities of their tires are good.

They focus on niche markets and classic thread design.
Also these tires are produced by Heidenau and are the only "knobby" tires in the market for LTD and CSR stock tire dimensions:
