Hi,
I am from the UK and currently have a Z750 B1 which i am converting into a Brat Bike/Bobber.
I want to remove the airbox and use K&N's or equivalent but have so far come up against a brick wall.
There does not seem to be anything that i can fit so wondered if anyone from your site has looked into this previously?
Dynojet does not do anything for the B Models.
Regards
Gary

RE: Z750B1 Tuning?
Hi Gary,
I think most B are driven by the airbox. There are a few users with K & N filters, such as Michael, who changed the setup of the spraying. Better He answers that for himself.
For me other carburetors are screwed with funnels. This is already more extensive than just airbox out.
But there is basically no performance increase, just by swapping the airbox. That's why only Recommended if other measures are taken. The box is running quite well in the series trim ...
Greetings, Peter

RE: Z750B1 Tuning?
Hi Gary,
welcome to our Twin-Forum !
I'm not using the B-carbs at all.
Most of my Twins (except two) are using LTD-carbs with matching LTD intake boots and single throttle cable.
In combination with K+Ns I use the Dynojet kit with #128 main jet.
One other runs perfect on "plug'n'play" Mikuni TM34-B120 with K+Ns, the other one on completely reworked carbs of a Honda CB400N (lot of work to fit them!)
All these carbs uses the smaller intake boots of the LTD.
Do you know Kaptainkwak (Andy) and the UK website for our Twins:

Cheers, Michael

Denkt dran:
Die Drehrichtung des Motors an der Zündungsseite ist gegen(!) den Uhrzeigersinn.
Die Steuerkette nur bei montiertem Ventildeckel spannen, sonst droht ein kapitaler Motorschaden!
Allzeit Gute Fahrt!
