OK,
now I read your drawing and I have some questions and remarks (mind, that I am a bloody newbie in lubrication ;-):

1. there is only one pump shown. So, you will bypass/remove the original pump? Or is the black line fed by the original pump from the oil sump? Then the sketch is not fully correct, the collector is missing.
2. I am not familiar with the tube sizing. 10 AN describes a flow/min or a dimension? Anyway, 10 is more than 3, right?
3. The original breather for the crankcase is not going to the exhaust, but to the airbox. Did you change intentionally?
4. Assuming two pumps, the oil is filtered downstream of the original pump only, thus no filtered oil for the turbo. Intentionally?
5. What makes me really a bit nervous is the risk of different oil levels in the two tanks. Although they are corresponding containers, in operation, there might be changing condition, right? And both volumes are not on the same level above ground, right? If the 2litres tank is installed below the swing arm and the engine is not running, it may run full of oil and drain the main sump! The other way around: If the two litres have been sucked off the tank, they will return first into the main sump - seriously overfilling the crankcase.
So, in my perspective, you should carefully think about check-valves in the Y-piece below the sump.

Heri, what do you think?

NO ......... THE ORIGINAL PUMP REMAINS  AND FUNCTIONS AS ORIGINAL. MY SCHEMATIC IS THE AUXILLIARY  PUMP ONLY FOR TURBO / OIL COOLER - THE OEM SYSTEM IS NOT SHOWN.

2. I am not familiar with the tube sizing. 10 AN describes a flow/min or a dimension? Anyway, 10 is more than 3, right?

YES, -10AN IS 5/8" TUBING SIZE .........-3AN 3/16" TUBING - AN IS "ARMY / NAVY" ...... US SIZING FOR MILITARY USE. MAINLY USED ON DRAGSTERS AND RACE CARS / BIKES !! MOST SPECIALISED ANODISED ALLOY FITTINGS YOU SEE ARE "AN".

3. The original breather for the crankcase is not going to the exhaust, but to the airbox. Did you change intentionally?

YES, THIS IS NORMAL RACE PRACTICE [ LIKE MY PINK '27T ROADASTER ] - THE OIL BREATHERS GO DIRECT TO A PCV [ ONE WAY ] VALVE INTO THE EXHAUST HEADER. YOU HAVE A SIMILAR VACUUM TO THE KZ750 OEM INTAKE POSITION, BUT YOU DO NOT WORRY ABOUT COLLECTED OIL !!! DO NOT TELL THE ENVIRONMENTAL GREEN PARTY !

4. Assuming two pumps, the oil is filtered downstream of the original pump only, thus no filtered oil for the turbo. Intentionally?

THE OIL RETURNED TO THE SUMP BY THE OEM SYSTEM IS OF COURSE FILTERED. THERE WILL BE A FINE FILTER SCREEN ON THE FEED TO THE SECOND PUMP ANYWAY , AND I PLAN TO HAVE A SMALL INLINE FILTER AFTER THE TURBO OIL SUMP. THE SYSTEM SHOWN BY CHRISLWG [ WITH TWO PUMPS ] HAS NO ADDITIONAL FILTER [ ONLY A PICK UP SCREEN ] FOR THE OIL COOLER FEED. AND HAS SEEN 3 YEARS OF VERY HARD USE WITHOUT PROBLEMS.

THE TURBO OIL SUMP IS SIMPLY A COLLECTOR WITH A 2 LITRE CAPACITY [ FOR SAFETY ] IT WILL NOT BE FILLED WITH OIL  [ AS THE ENGINE SUMP ].

THE TURBO OIL NORMALLY RETURNS TO THE ENGINE / SUMP BY GRAVITY ONLY. MY TURBO IS SITUATED TOO LOW TO USE GRAVITY, SO A PUMP IS REQUIRED - THIS IS NORMAL RACE PRACTICE.

THERE MUST ALWAYS BE A SMALL AMOUNT OF OIL IN THE TANK OTHERWISE THE PUMP MAY DRAW AIR. THE OIL COOLER IS THE LOWEST PART OF THE SYSTEM [ BELOW THE ENGINE SUMP - AND WILL CONTAIN ABOUT 1 LITRE OF OIL AFTER THE ENGINE STOPS RUNNING.
BY COINCIDENCE, THE BOTTOM OF THE TURBO OIL SUMP IS LEVEL WITH THE BOTTOM OF THE ENGINE SUMP !

So, in my perspective, you should carefully think about check-valves in the Y-piece below the sump.

THIS IS OF COURSE " WORK IN PROGRESS" [ MAKE THAT "THINKING IN PROGRESS" ! ] AND THERE WILL BE MANY SMALL CHANGES BEFORE I AM SATISFIED EVERYTHING WORKS OK. ........... THAT IS WHY I APPRECIATE ALL YOUR [ AND HERI'S / MICHAEL'S ]  FEEDBACK.

HERI, MY FRIEND HAS RUN HIS XS650 VERY HARD FOR 3 YEARS NOW, WITHOUT PROBLEM. MAYBE HE IS JUST LUCKY !  ;)

HOWEVER ................... NOW YOU SEE WHY I WANT TO DEVELOP A BETTER SYSTEM !

PIX OF TYPICAL AN FITTINGS

No problems Eric.

These are "Chinabay" items - quality is excellent and cost is around 50% cheaper than UK/EU.

I have just received a -10 AN bulkhead fitting - UK price £19 ....... Chinabay £11 delivered. -  IN 7 DAYS!

I have ordered quotes few items from one dealer, so I can ask him for  good deal!

So far - I have paid NO customs duty or VAT.

 Eric,
Apology - I misunderstood the bad Google translation ! I thought you were looking for fittings - I now understand you are a supplier.

Hallo Eric,
OK - I understand now !
I have a friend in the UK from my old Replica Car manufacturing days - he also supplies US sourced hoses and fittings.
He cannot supply me with parts at the same prices as Chinabay - and we are VERY good friends !
I have to say that the Chinese copies [ ?? ] are very well made, and he agrees. The finish on the US made items is a little better, but that is only cosmetic.
Here is my latest delivery, quality AND finish [ on these items ] is excellent.
And some of the replicas I designed and manufactured.
